‘Flying solo’ is something I have aspired to throughout my 20+ years in Aviation. This may seem like a very long time, but the truth is that it has literally ‘flown’ by. In the last two decades we have seen and worked through huge changes that have affected our industry forever. 9/11, the record oil prices of 2008 and following global recession, and most recently the Covid pandemic.
So, whilst our industry has suffered periods of extreme ‘turbulence’ the one constant is the great people that dedicate themselves to Aviation and Travel in general. I count myself as extremely fortunate to have worked for, worked with and managed some wonderful travel professionals. It is these people and this network of friends, colleagues, clients and partners that enables me to launch with confidence as we all cautiously, but optimistically emerge into the post pandemic world and adapt our industry to cope with the new demands and concerns that Covid presents.
